Scifi Funk (1999)

Scifi Funk is a breakthrough album and marks the point where everything finally came together. The experimental use of electronic synthesis, the emergence of strong funky grooves, and a persistent sense of being out in space — galaxy space — gave the music a clear thematic identity to work from.

This album became the forerunner to an entire run of dystopia-era releases. Many of the ideas, moods, and approaches introduced here flow directly into later work, making Scifi Funk a central and defining album in my progression.
